Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapy Support Worker (Band 4) to join the North Kerrier Community Rehabilitation Team based at Camborne-Redruth Hospital.

We are looking for someone who ideally has experience of working in an inpatient and/or community setting and wishes to develop their therapy assessment, care planning and rehabilitation skills whilst being part of a dynamic, progressive Integrated team.

This is a 22.5 hours per week post - Monday-Friday, Under the guidance of the physiotherapists you will be responsible for triage, assessment, treatment and discharge of patients within your caseload.You will need to assist in the interpretation of information relevant to the patient's condition/progress, identify problems and patient needs, setting realistic goals.

You will need to have excellent organisational skills combined with experience of working in a care setting, preferably a therapeutic one. You will need a valid UK driving licence and the use of a car which can be used for work purposes. Please state this clearly in your application.
