Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to join our Physiotherapy Inpatient Surgical team. You will manage a caseload of patients requiring physiotherapy interventions utilising shared skills where appropriate on the Surgical Wards. With support from senior staff, you will be responsible for the supervision of Physiotherapy Assistants within the team.
You may also work with the Physiotherapists to support the rehabilitation of patients on Critical Care and within the Amputee outpatient service., The successful candidate will undertake role specific training linked to a competency framework. Weekend working will be included following a period of induction and once an appropriate level of competency is reached., If you're looking for flexible or predictable working arrangements, please speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate this. This role is part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills.
