Full Job Description

  • Communicate goals and deadlines to team members
  • Plan workloads and delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow
  • Create a productive and motivated work environment
  • Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Assist with the hiring and training of new employees
  • Keep teams informed about recent developments, policies, and management updates
  • Support daily warehouse operations, including:
  • + Perform ticketing, picking, packing, counting, housekeeping, and safety functions + Conduct quality audits as required + Update and manage company computer systems + Pick parts for shipment based on customer orders + Match packing list details with actual merchandise + Pack and label stock items using tags, stamps, or labeling equipment + Identify and report any incorrect or short-shipped items to management + Inspect stock for wear and defects + Maintain general housekeeping by keeping the warehouse and yard clean and organized + Dispose of waste responsibly in designated recycling bins + Ensure stock storage areas are tidy and well-organized

    This role is perfect for a highly energetic and self-motivated individual with leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will lead the warehouse and shipping team while ensuring the highest quality standards and attention to detail in daily operations. You must be computer-literate, though training on our company-specific software will be provided. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role.,
  • FLT Counterbalance licence (preferably with high-level order picking experience)
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld devices
  • Experience in a fast-paced Distribution Centre environment
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities
