GXO is currently seeking a driven and talented individual for the role of Picking First Line Manager, to join our state of the art, flagship Nestle site based at East Midlands Gateway. You will provide clear leadership to the team, creating a culture that drives performance and empowers the team to deliver a high standard of work, fulfilling customer requirements efficiently, accurately and safely.,

  • Day to day leadership of the light goods picking team, coaching team members to support the delivery of quality and accuracy in all areas of the department, in addition to first line automation trouble shooting

  • Monitor the flow of product to identify stoppages / blockages, investigating cause to determine the most appropriate resolution

  • Control team members interactions with automation, in line with training, ensuring safety process are followed on every occasion

  • Encourage and identify ideas for continuous improvement, i.e. health and safety, housekeeping and productivity

    This is a full time, permanent role working a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern. The hours of work will rotate between 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00., You'll be paid a salary of up to £34,500 per annum, which includes a night shift allowance. You'll also receive 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance.
