Full Job Description

As a Pipeline Technical Artist, you will collaborate across multiple disciplines acting as a bridge between art and engineering teams. You will be responsible for extending and improving our in-house digital content pipeline & tools. This is a contract role based at our state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa. We have a hybrid work model in place with a minimum of 3 days a week in studio. Relocation assistance is available if required. What you'll do:

  • Take ownership of our export tools within our in-house digital content pipeline.
  • Take responsibility of our game world's performance by creating tools and processes to ensure the best possible balance between quality and cost.
  • Identify bottlenecks and promote best practices for authoring art content to help our artists do their best work.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with building user friendly digital content creation (DCC) tools and pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar language, ideally with experience creating scripts for 3ds Max.
  • C++/C# proficiency is a bonus.
  • Effective collaborator with growth mindset and desire to help others to do their best work.
  • Strong verbal and digital communication skills. Comfortable discussingrendering, memory, lighting, animation, and other art-related topics.
  • Ability to debug and write clean and performant code. Programming degree is a bonus.
