Full Job Description
- To take a lead role for Housing Operations to authorise and oversee the use of CCTV/security.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the successful delivery of environmental improvements across council estates, including close working with residents and the council's housing assets and delivery teams.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the efficient delivery of an estate management service, across the whole portfolio of council owned and managed properties, including the regular inspection of communal areas to identify/report communal repairs and fire hazards., Managing a team of project managers overseeing estate improvements such as waste areas, electronic notice boards, estate parking.
- Take responsibility, with the Tenancy Manager, to be the senior manager on call to respond to housing operations related emergencies in the evenings and at weekends.
- Responsible for all place management policies and processes, keep abreast of changes, best practice, etc and ensure working practices reflect.
- To ensure new processes are developed and implemented in line with the Council's digital programme.
- Chairing partnership meetings in relation to multiple landlord estates housing management.
