Placement Student - EMEA Compliance project support

We are looking for an enthusiastic Compliance project support for EMEA to join our team specializing in environmental for our corporate business in Darlington, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!, In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Supporting the Compliance Specialists in the day-to-day activities of the emissions compliance projects by assisting with identifying vehicles and machines, keeping the databases up to date, working with Sales Account Teams, Customer Support teams and Customer Engineering to locate and agree vehicle use with end user.
• Supporting the Compliance Team with arranging and tracking of deliveries in and out of Cummins including vehicles and parts.
• Supporting the Compliance Team with ordering of components for compliance emissions programs.
• Leads a process improvement initiative identified by the Compliance Team from initial concept to completion - target 6-month project
• Participate as part of the Core Team on Compliance Investigation projects, using tools such as the 7-Step Process
• Support any activities related to Compliance and Conformity of products for the EMEA region.
  
  To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Studying towards a degree in STEM
• Effective communicator and having experience in a customer facing environment is advantageous with Project Management experience or skills.
• Experienced in MS Office including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to write reports on project findings, basic level of technical understanding desired but training will be provided.
