Placement Student- New Product Purchasing

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Key New Product Introduction work in support of departmental objectives.
• Detailed involvement in Functional Excellence - opportunity to work with other Business Units to help share common processes, tools, and resources to better achieve business goals.
• Working with a group of suppliers - assisting with purchase to pay process, cost reduction, capacity planning, delivery/quality performance, risk mitigation.
• Data analysis in assistance with low-cost country sourcing/cost reduction opportunities.
• Engagement across several teams, gaining commodity experience.
• Close integration with Supplier Quality.
  
  To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Working towards a degree - please specify degree being studied, preferably Engineering/Business related although not limited to these subjects.
• Positive attitude, strong personal motivation; being proactive in a dynamic working environment.
• Communication skills and being able to work well in a team. Teamwork skills.
• IT Skills/program knowledge.
