Placement Student - Supplier Quality

To be successful in this role you will need the following,

• Support Power Systems VPI programs APQP and PPAP activities of High, Med & Low risk suppliers
• Maintains, track and update Cummins Quality Systems Management (CQMS), Source Release and PPAP activities through reporting and administration
• Supports Component / Supplier risk assessments with supplier selection and Supplier visits
• Complete 6Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and lead a 6Sigma Green Belt project to improve Supplier Quality processes
• Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues
• Participate in community engagement as part of Cummins commitment to Corporate Responsibility
  
  Working towards a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineer or a Business-related degree (Supply chain / Quality / Project Management)
• Self-motivated and confident to work independently with proactive time management and prioritization of tasks
• Active participation and contribution as a team member, including strong cross-functional communication skills and able to define and solve problems in a disciplined approach
• Excellent computer skills - MS Office including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
