Full Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Support Assistant to provide assistance in the smooth running of business operations across Schools. Academic Registry plays a vital role in the everyday operations of the University, overseeing a number of core administrative services which support every aspect of the student journey, from enrolment through to graduation. We put students at the heart of everything we do. Operating centrally, we collaborate across all our schools, faculties, campuses and partner institutions to help the University achieve its mission by ensuring that every student who studies with us has an exceptional experience, is able to achieve their potential, and can go on to enjoy a successful career. Our experienced specialist teams oversee the crucial administrative processes which ensure that our courses are delivered to the highest standards and that the University complies with all professional, statutory and legislative requirements. You'll be
joining one of the University's largest teams, made up of more than 180 staff, ranging from senior strategic managers to experienced administrators and ambitious recent graduates.

You will have experience of administrative functions, gained by working in a secretarial or administrative role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy together with drive, enthusiasm and a proactive approach are essential requirements for the role. You should also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload. Experience of Microsoft Office or equivalent IT Software is essential. Applicants will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning., Disability Confident
