Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join bpha's In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customer's lives everyday by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them. We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, and we utilise the latest technology to ensure that we not only deliver a great experience for our customers, but for our colleagues as well. The Planned Works Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of our mobile operatives and the contractual management of associated sub-contractors. What you will be doing:

  • Ensuring that your team adhere to operational controls, systems, policies and procedures
  • Managing and developing an engaged, motivated and customer focused workforce
  • Take responsibility for delivering a planned maintenance service
  • Ensure that your team complete all assigned work, manage holidays, sickness and absences
  • Essure that material, supplies and the correct tools are available for your team
  • Take responsibility for ensuring all works delivered are within time constraints and budgets

    Good general all round trade and construction knowledge and experience
  • Relevant supervisory experience in property maintenance or similar service
  • Ability to inspire, lead and create teams
  • Experience in the delivery of services using a direct workforce
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in a construction trade
  • Experience of working within tight time restraints, overcoming logistical challenges, and planning
  • Good and relevant Health & Safety knowledge and qualifications
  • Full clean driving licence
