Full Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join bpha's In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customer's lives everyday by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them. We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, and we utilise the latest technology to ensure that we not only deliver a great experience for our customers, but for our colleagues as well. The Planned Works Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of our mobile operatives and the contractual management of associated sub-contractors. What you will be doing:
- Ensuring that your team adhere to operational controls, systems, policies and procedures
- Managing and developing an engaged, motivated and customer focused workforce
- Take responsibility for delivering a planned maintenance service
- Ensure that your team complete all assigned work, manage holidays, sickness and absences
- Essure that material, supplies and the correct tools are available for your team
- Take responsibility for ensuring all works delivered are within time constraints and budgets
Good general all round trade and construction knowledge and experience - Relevant supervisory experience in property maintenance or similar service
- Ability to inspire, lead and create teams
- Experience in the delivery of services using a direct workforce
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in a construction trade
- Experience of working within tight time restraints, overcoming logistical challenges, and planning
- Good and relevant Health & Safety knowledge and qualifications
- Full clean driving licence
