Full Job Description

Due to continuous growth and a drive to focus on quality, commercial control and attracting and retaining top talent we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our award-winning team. We have a variety of schemes already on site ranging from £5m to £54m along with a strong pipeline for 2025, which is underpinned by our exceptional construction team. Additionally, you will be involved in numerous tasks including but not limited to:

  • Production of Tender Programmes, methodology statements and assisting the bid team with buildability issues.
  • Providing the main Master and Construction Programmes.
  • Providing Procurement Programme to assist placement of subcontractor packages.
  • Producing sectional phasing programmes to assist more detail understanding.
  • Producing subcontractor programmes to track key subcontractor performance
  • Liaising effectively with other Company departments.
  • Keeping abreast of current legislative and industry standards.
  • Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
  • Complying with Company rules, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable tasks which may be required from time to time and to enable the company to remain adaptable to changing markets and needs.

    The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience in a similar role and thrive in a dynamic, challenging, and evolving environment and a relevant qualification, such as a Degree, Level 5 HNC, or equivalent, is required, and membership of the CIOB would be a distinct advantage. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Packages, with a focus on Power Project, Corel Draw, and Visio.
  • You should be a collaborative team player, commercially astute, and possess a natural ability to motivate and influence the projects outcome. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be engaging with site teams, clients, and stakeholders, presenting information clearly and concisely.
