Planner / Senior Town Planner

Our client, a leading planning consultancy, is offering an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Planner or Senior Town Planner to join their team. • Independently manage planning projects of circa 30 units, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Support senior team members as a second-in-command on much larger, high-profile schemes.
• Prepare and submit top-quality planning applications, appeals, and related documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to drive project success.
• Stay ahead of planning regulations, offering expert guidance and innovative solutions.
• Contribute to a dynamic team environment, mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate.
  
  We're seeking a professional with 3-4 years of planning experience who is either RTPI chartered or actively working towards this status. While private sector experience is essential, candidates with some complementary Local Authority experience are also encouraged to apply., 3-4 years of relevant planning experience, predominantly in the private sector (some Local Authority experience is welcome).
• RTPI chartered status or active participation in a recognised pathway toward chartership.
• Proven ability to deliver projects and navigate the complexities of the UK planning system.
• Experience working independently on smaller projects and collaboratively on large-scale developments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and problem-solving approach, with a focus on delivering excellence.
