Full Job Description
- To answer incoming calls to the office quickly, politely and professionally.
- Be fully responsible for calculating costings, and processing payments accurately
- Process and manage orders - efficiently and accurately
- Work alongside the planning team clearing loads
- Proactive calls to hauliers to Sub-contract work
- Review, Cleanse and Input Data accurately
- Uphold customer charter and agreed KPI's
- Excellent diplomatic communication and negotiation skills at all levels
- High level of initiative and proactive skills required
We'd like you to have good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and good numeracy and literacy skills. With accuracy and attention to detail, you'll be able to prioritise and make decisions as well as problem solve. A good communicator and team player at all levels, you'll be flexible, positive, proactive and committed in your approach to meet work demands. With understanding of transport legislation and Working Time Directive, you'll have excellent geographical knowledge.
