Full Job Description
Firstly, you'll be responsible for the delivery of the PECS Plan, which means you'll ensure that the schedule for the movement of custodies is delivered. You'll work closely with our crews & establishments (Prisons, Courts etc) to ensure custodies are transported on time and in a safe & secure manner. Combining data sources such as court & prison locations, crew routes & trackers, crew resources etc and further working with crews and establishments you'll then produce robust schedules to ensure the safe, secure and timely return of custodies to their destination! It doesn't always run smoothly though, so you'll need to be quick on your feet to adapt to any unpredictable changes and deal with any incidents or challenges that occur throughout the day!
What you need to do the role:
If you are detail oriented, highly organised, resilient with exceptional communication skills, then we want to hear from you! Ideally, you'll have previous experience in a similar role, when you have been involved in organising large scale logistics / scheduling plans in a large geographical area! You'll be computer literate with the ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of data/information. Experience is not essential as we will provide full training, however if you do have experience in a similar role, it would be highly beneficial.

- This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office.
- You will be required to obtain Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 Vetting & Enhanced DBS with Child Barring.

Prisoner Escort Custody Services (PECS), Serco operates across 105 courts and 16 vehicle bases throughout London, East & West England.
