Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager to join our project team on a permanent basis based from our project in Winchester. VolkerFitzpatrick have recently be awarded the M3 Winnall Roundabout Scheme worth approx 210m. Construction is set to start in early 2025 and finish in late 2027. Programmed works include the creation of four traffic lanes in each direction of the M3 as well as building a same-direction free-flow link between the M3 and A34. Also VolkerFitzpatrick will be constructing three new bridges, rearranging the main junction 9 roundabout and providing a number of other structures including new underpasses.

  • Expert knowledge of planning practices through different sectors - focusing on the benefits of different approaches
  • Expert knowledge and experience of planning tools that are used in the industry
  • Commercial and contact knowledge through different forms of contract - seen as the time and change experts in their sector.
  • Drive delivery of the programme and demonstrate productivity improvements.
  • Become an effective people manager and leader of their planning team.
