Planning Officer (Towns Urban Design)

This role is starting asap, working 36 hours a week in an ongoing contract., We are working from home but there could be the occasional need to attend the office and also to attend site so a driving licence is also required to drive one of our pool cars or you would need to take effective arrangements to undertake site visits.

Attendance could also be required at Planning Committee.

Main Purpose of the Job/Key Objectives:

Through the application of Development Management skills, make a significant contribution to the regeneration of the borough through the innovative and practical development of proposals for planning permission to ensure that growth and regeneration in the borough is delivered in line with the Havering Local Plan.

We are looking for an experienced Planning Officer with a minimum of 18 months experience to work in our Planning Applications Team.
