Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit to the role of Planning Partner to join our successful Planning team within the Division, led by the Planning Manager. The team plays a key role in liaising with and supporting senior colleagues through the strategic Planning Process and is additionally instrumental in supporting the delivery of the new Business Intelligence programme, delivering key statistics and management information. You will be working very closely with the Faculty of Science and Technology, becoming an expert in their data, providing evidence supporting decisions considering their key strategic initiatives.

The role requires well-developed analytical, statistical and reporting skills and an ability to carry out concise and accurate data analyses. Demonstrable experience and skills in using data visualisation software is essential in providing enhanced management information to support strategic planning and decision-making. You will have experience of working both independently and contributing effectively to a team and will have excellent diplomacy and communication skills with an ability to form effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with experience of working in analytical roles with complex datasets, interactive dashboards and visualisations, along with a sound understanding of the strategic context for higher education.
