As a Planning and Performance Analyst, you'll play a key role to support the delivery of all NGV planning and performance reporting activities. You'll lead the development of reporting materials to support Monthly and Quarterly NGV performance conversations and support the development of ad-hoc reporting materials on strategic topics. As part of the role, you'll support the preparation of NGV investor narrative and respond to ad-hoc queries from the CEOs office, including providing input to the CEOs report. You'll also facilitate an enterprise approach to performance management to support NGV portfolio growth.,

  • Coordinate development of Monthly Performance Review (MPR) packs throughout the NGV businesses.
  • Lead the development of NGV MBR, including summarising key messages in MPRs, deep dives, financials.
  • Seek to continuously improve performance processes across business.
  • Support the annual Strategic Business Plan development, alongside the Planning and Performance Manager.
  • Co-ordinate the development of functional handshakes and support cadence of performance review.
  • Monitor all planning and performance activities to manage timelines and work with the team to mitigate any risk in the reporting process.

    Competent author of reporting material for C-suite consumption, ensuring NGV is appropriately represented in intra-NG messaging.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders to facilitate cross functional teams which operate collaboratively and innovatively.
  • Ability to lead and deliver high priority projects.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent or relevant experience.
  • Experience in the energy industry is desirable.

    A competitive salary between £46,000 - £58,000 - dependent on capability.
