Plant Operative (Night Shift)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic plant operator in support of
our Waste Transfer Facility

Outline of role

• Ability to work safely


• Operate numerous plant, such as; balers, counterbalance, loadall, loading

shovel, 360 excavator &/or grab material handler

• Loading, unloading, sorting numerous waste streams & products


• Feeding automated picking lines


• Shunting duties


• Banksman duties


• Manual handling


• Working at height


• Ability to conduct pre use checks & report any defects as necessary


• Ability to conduct preventive & periodic maintenance, (Cleaning, greasing,

topping up fluids, etc)

• Lock out/tag out

Working Hours /Schedule
Monday to Friday between the hours of 18.00 - 7.00. (Hours maybe subject to
change based on work commitments)


• Previous experience within the waste/recycling industry (advantageous)

Salary - Competitive Rate (Hourly Based)
