Plant and Transport Service Co-ordinator

The Plant and Transport Service Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles, plant and equipment are maintained, serviced, repaired and are in good working order by liaising with drivers, operators and suppliers.,

• Liaising with site personnel regarding servicing and repair of equipment in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate records of all vehicles, plant & equipment, ensuring all necessary maintenance/repairs are carried out at the earliest possible convenience with minimum disruption to site operations
• Source any spare parts that are required
• To provide accurate information to support and enable the payment of invoices
• To contribute to the continuous improvement in the safety, quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the services delivered
  
  Coordination of vehicles, plant, or both
• Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
• Basic understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
• Excellent Admin skills and attention to detail
• Confident when liaising internally and externally
• Familiar with UK geography
Ideally, we would like someone who has some plant background, so someone with a bit of enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck would be ideal. This is an opportunity for someone to make this function their own and ODG are open to training someone for the role. Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK.
