Plant and Vehicle Maintenance Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for the maintenance and repair of our plant and vehicles. This role will be part time, around 16 hours per week and based at our Worminghall location, however you must hold a full driving license as you may be required to go out to sites from time to time to assist the field team with any mechanical issues.,

• To ensure the running and replacement of plant and vehicles to reduce the amount of time these are out of action


• To regularly service our plant and vehicles to ensure it is safe for our teams to use


• To liaise with the Operations Manager to order any replacement parts you need


• To always work in a safe manner, with attention to H&S regulations


• To ensure all tools and vehicles are kept in the highest order, clean and serviceable at all times.


• To attend sites from time to time if any immediate repairs are need to get job completed in a timely manner


• UK Driving Licence
  
  The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience with plant servicing and repairs. However applicants with relevant mechanical experience will be considered.


This role requires a great degree of independence as well as an ability to work on your own initiative.

You will be a team player who is equally comfortable working alone to meet the demands of our busy workload and reduce the impact of machinery down time on the business. Attention to detail along with a focus on Health & Safety is vital for this role.
