Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Plastic Specialist Dressings Nurse in the outpatient team based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. If you are passionate about point of care delivery and working within the specialised field of Plastic dressings then please apply.,

  • To provide Outpatients a plastics dressing clinic focused on patient assessment, management, advise and monitoring.
  • To actively participate in educational interventions to patients encouraging holisticpatient care.
  • To provide specialist nursing contribution and professional advice to the clinicalmanagement of patients wounds, to patients and other health professionals
  • To liaise with the clinicians both Plastic Surgeons and other specialities who referpatients to the clinic regarding the appropriate management of individual patients
  • Documentation of all actions and conversations from the clinic, using evolve
  • Management of discharges and decisions to follow up using Medway.
