Full Job Description
- Report to the supervisor for work allocation and paperwork.
- Check job dockets and follow QC processes.
- Set up jobs and get supervisor approval.
- Perform quality checks and label finished work.
- Log job details in Optimus RDC and report faults.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow recycling procedures.
- Report hazards and unsafe practices.
- Change blades and complete daily check sheets
We're seeking an experienced Platen Operator with excellent attention to detail and a strong track record of reliability. Previous experience in a print environment would be ideal., Must have experience working on Platen machines (ESSENTIAL) - To effectively follow verbal and written instructions and raise issues that arise.
- Ability to complete paperwork in English accurately and completely, understand the importance of detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and individually.
- Self-managing and pro-active.
