Platform Engineer (Cisco ACI)

We are seeking a skilled Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Engineer with expertise in Cisco NX-OS, Cisco Nexus Dashboard, Multi-Site, and Multi-Pod configurations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing complex ACI environments and integrating advanced data center technologies to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. As a key member of the Platform SDN Team you will be responsible for the upkeep and provisioning of the Node4 Infrastructure following company guidelines for support, internal maintenance and external projects.

• In-depth understanding of Cisco ACI architecture, components (APIC, leaf and spine switches) and deployment models.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco NX-OS configuration and management
• Proven experience deploying and managing Multi-Site and Multi-Pod ACI environments.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus Dashboard setup and operations for monitoring, analytics, and troubleshooting.
• Strong hands-on experience with ACI policy configurations, tenants, EPGs contracts and L3Out connectivity.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, NSX) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (OSFP, BGP, VXLAN).
• Experience with SDN technologies and concepts.
• Strong understanding of Layer2 and Layer3 network design and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP, (Data Center), or specific ACI-related certifications are highly desirable
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering with at least 3 years focused on Cisco ACI
