Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Plumber to join our Maintenance team.

The role is a critical one within our Maintenance team, which is responsible for providing all the School properties with plumbing and general maintenance support.

To be successful in the role you will be City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering, and have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.

You will need to be manually dexterous, with an excellent sense of balance and the ability to handle working at heights.

Your flexible approach to work and your team working skills will stand you apart from other candidates., Candidates will be assessed against relevant criteria only (i.e. skills, qualifications, abilities, experience) in selection and recruitment.

The post is permanent, 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday (with on-call duties, paid at 4 hrs at your hourly rate, where attendance on site is necessary)., If you are shortlisted for interview the HR team may carry out an online search via Google to check presence and activity, as part of the School's due diligence.

Any formal offer of employment will be subject to a number of pre-employment checks as part of the School's due diligence, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.

These include ID and Right to Work in the UK, satisfactory references, a successful enhanced DBS check, and a satisfactory online 3

party online & social media search.
