PM1022 Personal Assistant

I am a 51 Year old man living on my own in the area of Pontyclun. My passion is rugby and I enjoy going to watch matches in the Millennium Stadium when Wales is playing. I enjoy watching TV, going shopping and going out for meals. I am chatty when I get to know you and offer good company. Sometimes I need some gentle encouragement to engage in an activity like cooking a meal together or going to the gym. I love any type of music and enjoy watching the music channels. In the past, I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes which I am currently being reassessed for., The purpose of the job is to support me to access the social activities that I enjoy and to support me to gain confidence when out in the community., I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant for up to 10 hours a week. The hours worked will be flexible by arrangement dependent on the activities arranged., Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK

Must be a driver with a full clean driving licence.

Someone with diabetic training is an advantage.
