Full Job Description
The purpose of the job is to support in the home with personal care tasks & meal preparation., Having a chat about any interesting items
Supervising transfers to bathroom
Support with showering
Applying cream, put stockings on and off
Changing Dressing on foot (Small wound)
Help with dressing/undressing
Change bedding if needed
Accompanying to appointments
Support with meal preparation
Prompt with medication
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Someone who will be a good companion and will be happy to just sit with me
Someone who is trustworthy and patient
Someone who has a caring nature
A mature attitude
Female PA(s) due to personal care
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
Monday to Sunday
1hr PM - any time up to 8PM
You may also be required to cover my other PAs hours in the morning 1hr AM - any time from 6AM to 8:30AM
RATES OF PAY
£13.00 per hour
