PM2112 Personal Assistant

I am a 67 year old lady living in the Aberdare area, I am in a wheelchair and will require full care to be covered. Some of the tasks involve are getting me ready at the start of the day which will include washing me and getting me dressed. I will need support to transfer me from the bed to chair, and also transfer on the commode when required.

Manual handling training will be required as a hoist is used to assist with any transferring. This position is a double handed position.

I will require my commode to be emptied and clean and before leaving a drink prepared for myself.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support and assist with my care needs in my home, this is a double handed position, Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
