PMO Analyst

The role will be responsible for the analysis of information for the portfolio. This includes being involved in the preparation, analysis and presentation of data relating to programme finances, delivery, risks, and issues. Daily tasks include the collation and analysis of project financial reports, education of the Delivery community on best practice relating to project financial and delivery process/governance and providing analysis of spend vs. budget. Preparation of material for Executive level use.

• Project Management / Portfolio Governance and Communications / Portfolio Status Reporting


• Set up and creation of projects and management of budgets / Capex codes / Opex recharges


• Weekly and monthly reporting across levels, up to and including exec level.


• Management of financial breaches and applying appropriate mitigation


• Coordinate and compile monthly Steering Group meeting packs.


• Support Project Managers and Scrum Masters in key planning activity, including resource and financial forecasting, activity planning and risk analysis


• Budgeting financial expenditure and forecasting (capital and operating expenditure) across the Portfolio


• Demand Plans / Roadmaps / Portfolio report creation and update
  
  The successful candidate will have experience in a similar PMO position, supporting major enterprise level portfolios, with excellent analytical, presentation and reporting skills.

Key skills and competencies needed for the role are:

• Previous experience of providing PMO support for a large portflios.


• Knowledge and experience of Clarity or a similar enterprise level PPM system.


• Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint


• A good understanding of the project lifecycle.


• An understanding of PMO support in an agile delivery environment.


• A proven ability to take and influence decisions in a fast moving commercial environment


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Demonstrates exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and consistent high energy levels


• Ability to adapt quickly to change


• Self Motivated


• Ability to establish and develop relationships with peer and the business.


• Excellent time management skills in order to meet business deadlines


• Ability to share knowledge and experience with peers
