Full Job Description

Working alongside a team of colleagues and a diverse set of stakeholders, the PMO Analyst will be assigned a varied number of assignments over the course of a typical year in line with operational priorities and team/personal development objectives. These assignment will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Lead the centralised recording, collation and analysis of portfolio, programme and project information across the CMG portfolio. Typically this will involve a focus within a particular area such as resourcing, cost control, benefits realisation or quality management;
  • Play a pivotal role in the definition, performance, expansion and increasing maturity of the PMO global functions;
  • Facilitate the inception, implementation and operation of strategic transformational programme office support services alongside programme / project managers and staff working across multiple teams, regions and offices., Project Governance & Support
  • - Project Governance: Ensure project teams adhere to established PMO processes, standards, and methodologies. - Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination and management of project activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. - Documentation Management: Assist and update project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders. - Meeting Facilitation: Organize and facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and recording minutes. Reporting and Analysis - Status Reporting: Compile and analyse project status reports, highlighting key metrics, milestones, risks, and issues. - Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain project dashboards to provide real-time visibility into project performance. Risk and Issue Management - Risk / Issue Identification & tracking: Assist in identifying potential project risks and issues. Assist in the maintenance & governance of a log of project risks & issues and facilitate resolution by coordinating with relevant stakeholders. Communication and Stakeholder Management - Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met. - Feedback Collection: Gather and analyse feedback from stakeholders to improve project processes and deliverables. Continuous Improvement - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving PMO processes and methodologies. - Training and Development: Provide training and support to project teams on PMO tools, processes, and standards.,
  • Relevant foundation-level project management professional accreditation e.g. P3O / PRINCE2 / Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), PMI PMP, APMP; or equivalent
  • Experience in a PMO role and have worked on a variety of large scale transformation programmes in business and / or IT
  • Has worked in one or more of the following sectors:
  • + Professional Services; + Information Technology; + Legal; + Human Resources; + Finance; + Marketing & Business Development.
  • Has utilized enterprise level PMO tools;
  • Has developed & maintained programme & project-level controls:
  • + Schedules; + Resource plans; + Budgets & financial forecasts; + Benefits realization; + RAID Logs; + Quality Standards & Plans; + Change Requests & Logs; + Status reports, gate & quality reviews; + Document mgt. & QA.

  • Full lifecycle experience of working in dedicated project roles with experience working as part of a PMO team working across a portfolio of multiple projects;
  • Has worked and maintained working relationship at all levels of seniority from executive to project team member and supplier representatives;
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel & Project backed with good working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint & Visio
