PMO Analyst - Power Framework / Power BI

Arup are looking for a PMO Analyst to be part of the Delivery team within the Portfolio Office of the Digital Technology Group (DT). The delivery team leads business change, software, systems and infrastructure technology delivery across DT globally, to help make Arup's strategic plan and digital vision a reality. You will work a with a wide variety of stakeholders, particularly within digital technology, as part of a small global team to lead, facilitate and support Arup's portfolio, programme and project demand and delivery approach to maximise value, effectiveness and agility. Responsibilities of the role include:

• Working with the project delivery and business analysis professional practices to enhance Digital Technology's portfolio delivery methods, tools and templates, with a focus on agility.
• Driving adherence to the team's agreed portfolio delivery processes, methods and tooling by providing training, guidance materials, and coaching to project and programme managers - and other members of the team who lead change delivery.
• Managing, maintaining and driving innovation for the digital tools used to manage and deliver portfolio, programmes and projects, seeking out opportunities to automate or leverage AI to introduce efficiencies.
• Managing the development of dashboards for data analysis and visualisation to support operational priorities and provide executive overview of the portfolio.
• Managing and assuring the integrity, quality and timeliness of the portfolio datasets used to drive reporting and leadership decision-making.
• Leading the production and communication of regular project status reporting across the portfolio, and producing periodic performance monitoring against agreed KPIs.
• Guiding and training staff in using the firm's resource management systems.
• Managing the production of monthly financial reporting.
  
  Proven experience in a PMO/portfolio management role using best practice delivery disciplines including agile methods.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively with disparate data sets to drive management insights.
• High level of competence with a range of project management, portfolio management and digital collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project Online, the MS Office 365 suite, Azure DevOps/Jira, Kanban boards etc.
• Experience of building reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such PowerBI (preferred), QlikView or Tableau.
• Strong business acumen, commercial mindset and excellent financial accounting literacy.
Desirable:
• A professional project, programme management and/or portfolio management accreditation (e.g. Prince2, PMP, MSP, MoP).
• Educated to degree level.
• Proven experience in the architecture, engineering & construction sector and/or technology department of a large global organization.
• Business-focused and executive-level report preparation.
• Microsoft Power Framework experience.
