Yorkshire Ambulance Service are embarking on a major transformation project to change the primary triage tool for 999 call handling in the Emergency Operations Centre from AMPDS ProQA to NHS Pathways, in order to provide the most appropriate patient care and improve operational efficiency. This is an exciting new role to support the successful delivery of this project. The PMO & Performance Improvement Coordinator will be a key member of the project implementation team, working closely with other project team members, stakeholders across the organisation and external partners. The remit will involve supporting the administration of the project ensuring that timescales, project objectives, benefits and outcomes are achieved within agreed tolerances. The project will progress significant organisational change, including establishing new systems and ways of working, and retraining of staff. This is a varied project support role, which may include administering project and programme board meetings, maintenance of project documentation such as risk, issue and lessons learned logs, managing project communications, and coordinating project related activities such travel and accommodation for off site training. There may also be the opportunity to support other projects and programmes within the Trust's transformation portfolio., The PMO & Performance Improvement Coordinator will: + produce high quality documentation, including reports, on behalf of the Directorate and trust's Transformation portfolio. + provide comprehensive co-ordination support within the PMO and Performance Improvement functions. + make informed decisions within the remit and responsibility of the post, ensuring that agreed standards and targets are met in accordance with Directorate, Trust and National standards. + act as source of advice and guidance and point of contact for enquiries relevant to the PMO and Performance Improvement functions, liaising with internal colleagues and external organisations as necessary. + contribute to the effective maintenance of data and records management systems used within the directorate. + help develop, implement and monitor systems and processes regarding communication of relevant information to Trust staff and external stakeholders. + help to ensure effective project governance is in place, developing and presenting a variety of documents and reports, developing plans, managing, and monitoring progress, risks and issues and providing stakeholder management and communications. + ensure that standard project management methodologies are consistently applied.
