The Opportunity: The Diary Of A CEO has set the standard for podcast trailers globally. Recognised as best in class we still believe we have only scratched the surface of what is possible. In this role you will have the opportunity to take our work to the next level with our world class team. As a Trailer Editor, you will be responsible for transforming our long-form podcast conversations into visually stunning, attention-grabbing, disruptive trailers that reach millions every single week. You would be expected to create high energy social first trailers, like this, end-to-end. p/C-9o1qlgtEZ/ Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble footage to create compelling trailers that effectively communicate the story and engage a global audience
  • Add graphics, visual effects, and sound design elements to enhance the overall impact and effectiveness of the trailer
  • Make necessary cuts, trims, and adjustments to ensure pacing, timing, and flow of the trailer are engaging and seamless
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, self-teach and experiment with new techniques, and software to continuously improve and deliver
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, under very tight deadline that still exceed expectations
  • Share expertise and knowledge through out the wider editing team and functions
  • Requirements Must Haves
  • Extensive editing experience is essential with a demonstrable portfolio of work - our team is also willing to teach the right person, with the right attitude, the skills they need for the role. Your desire to learn and an alignment with work ethic and culture will be key
  • Proficient in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong creative and narrative storytelling skills and the ability to create emotional impact through editing from long form to trailers
  • Knowledge of graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects, is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while consistently exemplifying our culture and values
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, which can regularly require working outside of Monday-Friday
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts
  • Nice To Haves
  • A keen interest in AI & examples of how it has or will create optimal Trailer outcomes
  • Experience in a similar role, in a YouTube first or Studio based environment
