Your Role and Impact
As a Band 6 Podiatrist, you ll deliver high-quality podiatric care in a dynamic and well-supported team. You ll play a key role in providing day-to-day clinical leadership, ensuring that patient needs are always at the heart of our service. This position will challenge you to balance autonomy with teamwork, and you ll have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to service innovation., + Provide Expert Care: Deliver specialized podiatry services, managing a wide range of patient conditions, from routine foot care to high-risk foot management.
+ Clinical Leadership: Support and inspire colleagues through active demonstration of clinical best practices, while also mentoring and supervising junior staff and students.
+ Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including local CCGs, PCNs, and acute trusts, to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to patient care.
+ Contribute to Service Development: Be at the forefront of implementing innovative care models, with opportunities to shape and refine our services to better serve our community.
+ A BSc Degree in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent, with HCPC registration and a Certificate in Local Anaesthesia.
+ Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and managing a variety of podiatric conditions, including high-risk cases.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a busy, varied workload.
+ A compassionate approach and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
New graduates are encouraged to apply for a developmental Band 5 position, with comprehensive support and training to progress to Band 6.
