Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Administrator to join our West Locality team based at The Richard Hotham Unit, Podiatry reception.This Post offers the chance for someone to develop their skills in administration, communication with patients and other agencies and assisting with organising all aspects of a clinical service., Being a key contact for the Podiatry service for both patient and other agencies. Acting as a key conduit for all people trying to access the Podiatry Service and passing on queries and messages to the appropriate member of the team.

Assists the Admin Lead with any review of office or administrative procedures by inviting and collating feedback from clinical and administrative colleagues.

Assists with arranging and minuting team meetings and multi-agency meetings. Co-ordinates diaries, books venues and refreshments and sends out papers and other relevant information.

Be involved in ensuring that clinical bookings, referrals and waiting lists are managed appropriately.

Allocates work to new staff or less experienced staff. Provides day to day guidance and support on administrative issues and queries.

Ensures that electronic or paper patient, staff and other service records are filed accurately in an easily accessible system and kept secure.

Flexible to provide administrative cover to other Podiatry sites, such as Chapel Street Clinic in Chichester and Selsey Medical Practice, when colleagues take annual leave or sick leave.

The post holder will be supported in their development where needed and appropriate training will be available.
