Full Job Description

As Portfolio Manager (Membership) at AAT, you will lead the design and refresh of membership categories and pathways, ensuring the membership product portfolio complies with regulations and aligns with AAT's strategy. You will collaborate with qualifications and market development teams on member recognition agreements and work with the professional standards team to enhance membership value. Your role will involve managing the performance of products across the membership portfolio, providing leadership to the membership product team, and developing and delivering an ambitious product portfolio roadmap. Additionally, you will oversee budget management for the portfolio, driving the success of AAT's membership offerings.
Major objectives
Your major objectives will include:

  • Leading the membership product strategy and overseeing product development throughout the lifecycle

  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards while aligning with AAT's membership and qualification strategies

  • Driving stakeholder engagement and communicating the product portfolio vision effectively

  • Collaborating across AAT to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and support organisational growth

  • Analysing market trends and competitor insights to identify opportunities and drive innovation

  • Establishing and tracking key performance indicators to optimise product performance

  • Providing inspirational and operational leadership to the membership product team

    Extensive knowledge of developing membership designations and propositions

  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to membership

  • Experience in product management and lifecycle processes

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to develop and implement product strategies

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on performance tracking and financial reporting
