Full Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Growth & Ventures, the Portfolio Messaging Manager will focus on how we communicate our portfolio's value to the market, defining new ways to reach and engage target audiences. You will utilise knowledge on industry dynamics, business practice trends, customer requirements and competitive activity to communicate product value.

Other duties Include:

  • Create, support, and execute creative, cohesive, and integrated Product Marketing programs

  • Work collaboratively with product management leaders to develop key product stories


  • Work with the marketing communications team to:
  • Create a Marketing & Events Plan

  • Identify, prioritize, and create marketing assets - web pages, data sheets, presentations, videos, customer giveaways, and other assets

  • Create new high-quality content such as demos, webinars, videos, blogs, and slides

  • Collaborate with campaigns and distribution teams to support sales, demand generation spanning events, campaigns, social media programs, references and case studies, and press and analyst relations

  • Perform market research, interview customers and prospects, uncovering and communicating new challenges and trends in the market

  • Define and develop product value proposition in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Programs

  • Responsible for product marketing activities during the lifecycle including product launch plan, promotional and collateral support plan, also sales support/infrastructure plan to drive the successful acquisition and retention of customers

  • Collate feedback from user groups and customer forums to develop customer relationships to influence market thinking

    Marketing Degree and / or equivalent experience in Product Marketing (or similar) within the Aviation / Airline industry

  • Proven track record and history of creating effective product marketing programmes & marcomms tactics

  • Innovation Skills and track record in defining market requirements and functional specifications

  • Understanding of latest trends and innovations within the Airline (IT) industry and relevant technology areas

  • Capable of leading and influencing teams focused on product roadmaps within an international matrix organisation

  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, able to make the complex simple

  • Self-motivated, and able to respond and work well under pressure and change

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Articulate and effective communicator
