Full Job Description

At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. So, during your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely. We also recognise that life looks a little different for each of us. Some people are at the start of their careers, some want the freedom to do the things they love. Others are going through life-changing moments like becoming a carer, nearing retirement, adapting to parenthood, or something else. That's why at Tesco, we always welcome a conversation about flexible working. So, talk to us throughout your application about how we can support.

In this role you will play a key part in the delivery of the Technology Portfolio. You will support different teams to deliver their annual and multi-year plan through effective planning, reporting and tooling whilst providing oversight for the domain to provide transparency and data-led insight.

You will be responsible for:

Working with stakeholders in Technology to keep a transparent and accurate view of the Commercial Product element of the Technology portfolio.
Using insight and the benefit of a holistic view to steer the work we do and when.
Measuring performance across this area, providing intelligence to support strategic/long term planning processes.
Producing tailored reporting/updates on the plan, communicating progress to key stakeholders as part of the Technology governance and steering framework.
Driving the use of standard and consistent tooling.
Driving an efficient and effective portfolio prioritisation process with a continuous improvement mindset.
Preparing for and facilitating regular portfolio review meetings with the leadership team.
Tracking outcomes, forecasts/actuals, risks and issues across our plans to proactively identify, manage and mitigate any gaps.
Working collaboratively across other portfolios/teams to ensure a joined-up approach to managing Technology delivery.
Becoming a subject matter expert on our tools and processes (Aha!, SharePoint).

Firsthand experience writing engagement communication material.
Comfortable with numerical information.
Working in fast paced / project environment.
