We are developing a new team to Teach, Train, Deliver and Role Model high standards of clinical care around reducing Restrictive Practices. Our new Positive and Safe Team will be working across Derbyshire.

You will be required to work across two Trusts (DCHS & DHcFT) delivering a variety of training sessions as well as working in clinical practice.

As part of the Positive and Safe Team, you will support the delivery of organisational objectives for all Positive and Safe Training including theory and practical training across the Trusts, representing the Trusts in promoting training and support strategies in the reduction of restrictive practices, internally as well as externally.

The post will encompass training and education, providing knowledge and expertise in clinical practice when supporting staff teams who provide care to people exhibiting acutely behavioural disturbance and/or psychological distress.

The post will ensure compliance with National Guidelines and recommendations, Trust Policy and procedure and work within the RRN Accreditation Scheme.
