Salary: Ark Main / Upper Pay Range (subject to review Nov 23) - £37,667 - £59,242 + TLR 1a

Location: Wembley, London

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity and key springboard for the right applicant into sixth form leadership and the development of STEM subjects.

We are looking for:

  • An excellent teacher and leader of post 16 maths/further maths.

  • A leader who can co-ordinate and develop a team of post 16 maths teachers so that all students receive consistent and rigorous teaching.

  • A person with the ability to teach 'A' level physics and potentially manage post 16 physics.

  • A person who can develop and lead post 16 opportunities for STEM students in different settings.

  • A person who can support our destinations strategy that enables 80% of our Year 13 students to attend Top Third Universities.

    The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a strong degree/further degrees in mathematics/physics.

  • Have a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE and hold QTS status.

  • Be an outstanding teacher of KS5 maths and further maths or have the potential to become outstanding.

  • Be experienced in raising attainment across STEM subjects.

  • Have proven experience of working with students across the 'A' level ability range.
