Full Job Description

This is a great opportunity to bring your skills and experience of organising and overseeing administration of complex processes to our team supporting research and knowledge exchange projects.
The Post Award team is part of a supportive and cohesive team within the Research and Knowledge Exchange (R&KE) department supporting awarded research. Your role will be central to ensuring that new research and knowledge exchange awards are able to begin work on time having gained all necessary information and authorisations. You will then continue to support various projects in key administrative tasks enabling the smooth running of these projects and supporting other project staff working on these projects.
There will be opportunities for you to contribute to improvements to post award systems and processes and you will be working across a variety of teams and departments in the University to deliver vital project management support. In order to be successful in this role, you should have

o Administration experience with the ability to plan and manage competing priorities and work is completed accurately to deadlines.
o The ability to interpret and communicate processes in a clear manner to various stakeholders
o The ability to work on your own initiative to resolve issues and take ownership of areas of work within your responsibility
o Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of packages
