The post-holder will work within the Gynaecology Department and have special interest sessions in their chosen area - Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG), Early Pregnancy, Reproductive Medicine or Benign Gynaecology - at St Michael's Hospital, supported by the friendly and cohesive consultant team.

See www.disclosure.gov.uk for more information., The post holder will be expected to contribute to the full shift on-call rota (3rd on call), including emergency Obstetrics and Gynaecology cover. Annual leave and study leave are covered prospectively.
As a valued member of the team you will be included in the educational and training activities of the unit and encouraged to contribute to the teaching of nurses, midwives and other junior doctors.
This post is ideal for those wishing to consolidate their special interest skills prior to a consultant appointment, and will include regular clinical specialist sessions (including theatre sessions) as well as MDT meetings as appropriate., the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
