Full Job Description

To provide an efficient, comprehensive and confidential administrative support service to the
Postgraduate Administrator and Medical Education Department, to ensure that all
administrative duties required to manage and maintain Junior /Trainee Doctors across the Trust are delivered, + Assist with the processing of study leave applications for trainees, consultants and SASGs, to include recording accurate information in study leave databases and preparation of forms and helping coordinate their progress through the approval and reimbursement processes.
+ To update and maintain a data base of Educational Supervisors and clinical Supervisors ensuring training is up to date
+ To develop and maintain a locally employed doctor ( LED) data base
+ To organise weekly Grand Round administering a programme of multi-disciplinary Grand Round meetings. To Plan the programme and recruit speakers / presenters; book venue; arrange publicity.
+ To provide administrative assistance to support of Foundation doctors' training programmes, Foundation documentation and progress monitoring, including e-portfolios. Assist in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting e-portfolios
+ To update trainee and supervisor records for Trainer Census.
+ Assist in the organisation & attendance records for Foundation teaching.
+ To be responsible for booking PGME Centre's lecture theatre and seminar rooms for both PGME and other departments' use, keeping accurate and up to date records for PGME team as part of cross covering the centre's facilities.
