Full Job Description

The Post Producer is the main point of contact for all internal stakeholders who wish to use our Post Production facility in Television Centre. n this role, you will oversee and provide guidance to other post producers within the team, ensuring they meet standards of delivery and performance. You will also provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and confidence. You will also work closely with the Head of Post Production on commercial aspects of the facility. This role is the main point of contact, from quote through to delivery; liaising and communicating with all our stakeholders to deliver projects through our facilities. These facilities will include edit suites (offline, online and grading) and dubbing suites as well as our remote edit platform, working together with our tech teams based in LatAm and London.

  • Demonstrable experience of playing a client-facing coordinating role within a production team or a post-production facility. Building and ensuring trust, reliability, stability and communication is vital throughout.
  • Experience of delivering post-production projects, on time and on budget and of coordinating deliverables for productions.
  • Excellent knowledge of broadcast, post-production and digital formats, processes and terminology and the ability to apply technical knowledge with confidence in a commercial environment.
  • Demonstrable understanding of post-production workflows and knowledge of hardware/software required.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills - able to schedule and prioritize people and activities to meet operational deadlines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure; identifying issues quickly, communicating impacts to relevant stakeholders as well as offering solutions and/or workarounds.
