Full Job Description

  • Optimize cellular and molecular approaches for membrane protein enrichment
  • Develop and implement mass-spectrometry assays for protein analysis
  • Manage academic research and related administrative tasks
  • Refine scientific techniques and protocols, testing and analysing hypotheses
  • Collaborate on scientific reports, journal articles, and presentations
  • Operate specialist lab equipment and advise colleagues on protocols
  • Represent the research group at meetings and seminars

    PhD/DPhil in bioscience (or near completion)
  • Mass-spectrometry expertise, including sample preparation and data analysis
  • Strong research, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience with human brain tissue proteomics is a plus.
