Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary research team at the Oxford centre for Neuroinflammation.

This research project aims to explore the role of immune cells from patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) at different stages of disease and to understand how they interact with cells of the central nervous system (CNS). Using innovative techniques this research aims to expose new disease-associated immune cell populations and reinforce how environmental context is critical to their phenotype and subsequent role in disease. Our incomplete understanding of the causes and pathways involved in the onset and progression of MS limits our ability to effectively diagnose and treatment patients and therefore this research aims to be clinically translatable and aid drug development. About You You must hold a PhD in Immunology. Previous experience in MS research is not required, but experience with immune cell-based assays is essential. You should be highly motivated and have the ability to develop new ideas and research objectives.
