Full Job Description

The post holder will be a key member of the Postgraduate Medical Education Team.

You will be providing a high-quality administration service to the Senior Team and wider PGME staff.

You will have principal responsibility for the administration of education relating to resident doctors at Core and Specialty training level.

The content of the post will be subject to continuing review in discussion between the post holder and manager., To support the Associate Director of Medical Education (Quality).

Assist with the creation of a Quality dashboard.

To assist with the analysis of quality data e.g. GMC NTS, NETS Survey, Staff Survey, Sickness data etc.

To arrange quality review meetings and liaise with ADMEQ and specialty management teams.

Draft quality review reports with the support of the ADMEQ.

Ensure that all reports and quality data is prepared on a timely basis and ready to be presented when required.

Take notes at quality meetings

Induction

To plan the Trainee Induction, reviewing current induction programmes, booklets, and welcome documentation

Invite speakers, confirming the days programme.

Provide a `New Starters' database, listing required information.

Liaise with Medical staffing, Occupational Health, ID Team, and IT, to confirm new trainees.

Liaise with all specialties to gain reporting destinations, for the `where to go after induction' document.

Forward welcome packs to all expected new trainees.

Re-confirm current Tutors and Education Leads and contacts list for induction booklet.

Correspond with all trainees remaining in the Trust, reminding them to complete all mandatory training.
