Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our fast paced Catering team. The successful candidate will assist with the cleaning and operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all of the schools' hygiene and safety standards are met.

They will also demonstrate flexibility and be willing to take on new responsibilities as necessary to meet the changing needs of the School.

The ability to follow instruction and assist with unloading and storing heavy food deliveries at a fast pace is essential.

Ideally you will have previous experience in a catering position, however this is not essential as full training will be given.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a school which prides itself on the high calibre of staff who make up our warm, friendly and diverse community., Candidates will be assessed against relevant criteria only (i.e. skills, qualifications, abilities, experience) in selection and recruitment.

This role is full time and permanent 40 hours per week on a rota basis which will include weekends, early mornings and evenings but no split shifts and a significant break over Christmas and the New Year.

We are open to discussing the number of hours worked for the right candidate.
