Full Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Power Platform Developer automate business processes and develop business intelligence solutions.

You'll transform business data into dashboards, reports, custom applications and create automated workflows. You'll be working with a small team of developers and will also work closely with data engineers to maintain our existing applications while working to deliver new solutions across the business.

What does the role involve?

As a Power Platform Developer you will use tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate to develop new and inventive solutions, while effectively maintaining our existing systems.

You will also help to improve SIG business operations by creating tailored workflows and applications, discussing the needs of internal stakeholders and creating scalable solutions.

You will also help users utilise these new solutions and applications.

The successful candidate will help to provide the business with insights which will assistance in decision making, through the design and use of data models, dashboards, and reports.

Proven experience with Power BI, developing Dashboards for business end users, including the ability to utilise dynamic parameters.

The ability to produce professional looking visualisations which are easy to use and understand for all within the business, which will suit the requirements of differing levels of abilities.

Experience with using Power Automate and Power Apps to implement quality solutions.

The ability to restrict permissions via Row Level Security and audiences.

Experience of using and integrating data sources from multiple systems.

Knowledge of TSQL queries and SQL Management Studio preferred.

Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.

An Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.

The Ability to utilise Active Directory / Entra ID data to provide Business Solutions.
